In this book, David Gray-Hammond takes us on a journey through the landscape of being Autistic and Psychotic. Using both personal and professional experience, he interweaves academic literature with personal anecdotes, giving context to the loosely studied area of psychosis in Autistic people.
David highlights the impact of the lack of understanding, as well as discussing how one might help an Autistic person experiencing psychosis. Further to this, he considers how we might redefine the role of psychiatry in the lives of Autistic people and how we might address the social issues that contribute to psychosis.
