Stimpunks is building a shared language for disability, neurodivergence, access, and power.

This is not a medical dictionary. It’s a survival lexicon. A community vocabulary. A way to name what’s happening.

Free card deck to print

The Stimpunks Glossary Cards are a free card deck of 297 words from this glossary. Each card has the word, a short definition, a symbol, and a link for going deeper into Stimpunks World. Created by Stimpunks in collaboration with Helen Edgar, Autistic Realms. You will also find each card at the end of its glossary page.

A sample card from the Stimpunks Glossary Cards. Threshold Anxiety: the dread that lands at the edge of a change, before it has begun: a doorway, a first day, a new job or school. For monotropic minds, every transition is costly. Broken thresholds, not broken people. The symbol is a doorway with a figure standing just outside, and the Stimpunks umbrella logo is at the foot.
  • Print the cards (PDF, 4.7 MB, 75 A4 pages): 4 cards per page, single-sided, with cut lines. Print at actual size (100%), cut along the grey lines, and laminate if you like.
  • Complete deck for screens (PDF, 5.1 MB): a Welcome card, a How to Use card, then all 297 cards from A to Z, with bookmarks.
  • A4 posters (PDF, 4.8 MB): one card per page.
