A (or any) fragment; resulting from the improper contextual application of an abstraction or (or system) to where it must not be.

“when lawmakers over-rely on statistics to represent individuals, those abractions negatively effect the process of healthy governance.”

You can’t sterilize the people (embodied individuals) for the sake of your model. Otherwise it creates an abraction error type.

Abraction is the damage caused by an over-generalization applied to a group of individuals such as fundamental attribution error, triple empathy problem, and epistemic injustice.

Scientism usually results in abraction.
